Buckner was my first boxer and my heart dog. Every year on his birthday I celebrate by raising money for rescue boxers. A few years ago I started having other artists join me and now we have “Buckner’s Extravaganza”!
On September 21st, on our facebook page, we put up for auction one of a kind hand made items by a variety of skilled artists for one week. All money raised goes to boxer rescue. This year all the funds will be supporting R&R Boxer Rescue. R&R Boxer rescue is especially important to me because they are one of the first rescues to let me fundraise for them way back when I started my work in 2013 (back then the rescue had a different name but still the same dog loving crazy rescue people I adore). They specialize in rescuing the ‘hard cases’. The Seniors and dogs with medial issues. And the dogs labeled rescue only for their behavior at the shelter.
