Experimenting…

I wish sometimes I could remember how I come up with ideas for paintings.  I know I was randomly at Hobby Lobby with the intent of purchasing a plastic t-rex. I know at some point I ended up in the unfinished wood aisle, tossing a few of my most commonly purchased boxes in the cart. And then I came across some flat pieces of wood with great grain for lack of a better definition. I thought, oh those would burn well. Which morphed into how I could paint on them….somewhere from there this painting was born. I don’t know how. But I am stoked at the final outcome and looking to try a few more.
