“Portrait of a Laugh” 10×20

My back has been just killing me today. And I had every intention of resting it up until right after lunch, when I was suddenly struck with an image in my head that I absolutely had to paint (this was totally unrelated to the Cuba Libre I enjoyed with my tacos).

I tried to do as much as I could standing, and three hours later, she was finished and ready to dry in this California heat.
