Took Betsey and the Intern to one of our favorite spots in town so the two could get in the mud and puddles. Betsey surprised us by loving the water (most our boxers weren’t fans of it. Now my golden retrievers I had as a kid, different story lol).
The two found a nice spot by the creek to get dirty and throw rocks. Betsey tried to chase every rock thrown.
Afterwards, someone was toast and spent the rest of the afternoon napping…
Suffice it to say, we are madly in love with our newest Management. I cannot say enough good things about her. Or adopting a senior dog in general. Best Christmas we could have hoped for.
I hope all of you have a wonderful holiday. I’m going to be out longer than anticipated thanks to a minor (and I stress minor) health scare. I need to finally prioritize my health. But I’ll keep posting the cute pictures and update everyone on any rescue fundraising.
